From the reviews
Such a fantastic beer garden and event space in such a neat section of town. It’s very…urban around this spot. I like that kind of energy. Lots of businesses. Lots of bustling. Very anxiety inducing if you aren’t used to the big cities. We held a live pro wrestling show out of the events space.
I can’t give Hook Hall enough stars.! This venue was the absolute best for our wedding: the staff and bartenders were overly helpful and nice. The space was gorgeous and did not need much decorations. The outside space was decorated for Cherry Blossom and all of the guest raved about it.
The Cocktail Club delivers a wonderful experience. Mick is a passionate and creative mixologist who puts a lot of effort into creating cocktails and building them with a lot of showmanship. Charming semi-private venue with an eclectic ambiance. Can’t wait to be back. Thanks, Mick!
We loved the venue for the space and all the options of what we could do with it for our wedding. The organization by the staff could have been better as it was sometimes hard to get in contact, but on the day of everything went well and the indoor and outdoor space was well used by our guests.
Getting married at Hook Hall
Hook Hall comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Hook Hall
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Hook Hall — garden venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
