We checked out multiple venues in DC, but none captured the vision we had for our October 19, 2019 wedding like the Josephine Butler Parks Center. The space is beautiful enough to not need too much decoration but simple enough to be a blank canvas if you wanted to go big.
We got married here and had an amazing time! If you are looking for a venue that has elegance and character (as opposed to a boring ballroom) then go no further! The staff are all very professional and the center’s mission is incredible.
I had my wedding here in September of 2014 and it was absolutely perfect! The space is gorgeous and we knew the venue was for us the moment we saw it. We had just under 150 people and the space was perfect. Dinner was a little cramped, but other than that the space was perfect.
I’ve photographed several weddings at the PARKS CENTER. Every time, the venue is well organized, plenty of room for vendors, and the guest seem to really enjoy the multi-level space. You also won’t be able to beat the access to one of the largest (and best) parks in DC.
