Oh my goodness! The White Home is one of the most beautiful venues I have ever attended for a wedding and, as the venue for my daughter's wedding, was a dream-come-true! The house and its grounds are spacious and beautiful! There are so many plantings on the grounds to ensure blooms most all times of the year.
We got married at The White Home in Rock Hill, and I honestly don’t even know how to put into words how incredible the experience was. Every single part of the day was beautiful, smooth, and full of joy—and that’s 100% thanks to the amazing venue and Matt Stranes, our wedding planner. Matt was truly phenomenal.
I had an event at this venue just over a month ago. Matt is very sweet and offers many options for rentals, the staff are incredible and accommodating, and the place is just charming. The pictures online don't do it justice so it is definitely worth a site visit to see in person what it can truly offer.
Our daughter wanted an upscale but casual wedding and the White Home and the Hospitality Butler exceeded all of our expectations! When the weather threatened on the day of the event, Matt moved the cocktail hour to the front of the home and it was even more beautiful than originally planned.
Getting married at The White Home
The White Home comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
