From the reviews
We recently celebrated a 70th birthday at The Clebourne House, and it couldn't have been more perfect. The food was outstanding, the service was exceptional, and the atmosphere created the warm, elegant setting we had hoped for. Every guest had something wonderful to say about the entire experience.
We held our fundraiser at The Clebourne House in Dec. '19 and it was wonderful. It was a cold rainy night but that didn't stop people from coming out and having a great time. We had plenty of room as we were inside and outside with the heaters on and it was nice and cozy.
We had a wonderful rehearsal dinner at The Clebourne House over the past week-end. From the time of planning to the day of the event, Candace was great to work with. She allowed us to use the patio and set up our own Market Lights which created the perfect romantic atmosphere.
Great place to host events. We had our first company Christmas party and given we're in Fort Mill wanted to stay local. We met with the event coordinator who walked us around and fell in love with the place. The place has that charm and homey feel but was perfect for the number of guests we had.
Getting married at The Clebourne House
The Clebourne House comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at The Clebourne House
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at The Clebourne House — garden venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
