From the reviews
It was such a beautiful place. The staff was very nice. The selection of teas is great. Perfect for relaxing, for birthdays, bridal showers, for any special occasion. Desserts are amazing. It is pricey but it is picture worthy. I got the summer tea $58 per person.
We came yesterday for afternoon tea since it was my son's bday request. I made a reservation online and it was quick and easy. Location was easy to find and we lucked out with 2hr street parking for $2.50. Venue was cute inside, pretty simple. It wasn't crowded at all.
Beautiful Tea Room. Space for baby or bridal showers. Even a birthday party. We gadgets a party of 4, our table was a bit small but we made it work. Treats come on a 3 tier platter, tea comes iced or in a pot with a very generous amount of tea. The desserts were 10/10. The waiters were all extremely attentive.
We had our daughters 16 and 13th birthday party here at Tea Rose Garden. It was such an amazing experience! We would highly recommend this very elegant venue. The service, food, and service were the very best! The business is very classy, clean, inviting and it's a magical place. High quality. Best in California!
Getting married at Tea Rose Garden
Tea Rose Garden comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Tea Rose Garden
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Tea Rose Garden — garden venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
