The setting
“The price is also very affordable for what all they offer and the place doesn't even need much decorating because of all the natural plants they already have in the greenhouse.”
“We had our ceremony by the lake, a cocktail hour in the barn, our reception in the conservatory, and photos in the garden.”
“The greenhouse and pergola by the water allowed us to get married outside, and still have our reception indoors with an outside feel.”

“Our guests had an absolute blast dancing inside, and going back out to our Traveling Bar service, the Thirsty Filly that was stationed right outside the doors.”
“Keith had everything done and setup on his part, the tables and chairs inside the conservatory, and the chairs outside by the ceremony spot.”
“They also allowed our dog to be in the wedding and stay at the venue.”
What couples say again and again
“A Conservatory filled with beautiful plants, and flowers and greenery, and a historic barn that can be used for a small ceremony, cocktail hour, or for taking pictures.”
“I knew exactly what they would be doing for us the day of the wedding, and what I knew would be expected of me to make happen.”
“Everyone raved about how beautiful everything was, and how romantic the atmosphere became as the night went on and the dim lights that came on, really just set the mood.”
“We had also provided for our guests and bridal party a shuttle service with Wooster Transit.”
From the reviews
I had the pleasure to be here last weekend 9/20/19. First off, this is a very unique venue located in the beautiful landscape that Ohio has to offer. I was the DJ/ Master of Ceremonies for this venue and wanted to compliment Keith (owner of Mohican Gardens) on his accommodation, and willingness to help throughout the…
Awesome place! We had our wedding here and everyone there did such a great job making us feel comfortable and they were super helpful! Everything was prepared like it should have been on there end the day of and the wedding day went perfect!
Mohican Gardens is a beautiful country venue! I have been to a wedding here and several other events. The staff has always been very helpful and accommodating to all of our needs. I would highly recommend them!
I'm a little late to giving my review of Mohican Gardens and Conservatory, but better late than never. Our wedding was November 7th, 2020. It was a complete dream! I always knew I wanted my wedding to be a different experience, that wasn't typical of the current trend of barn and rustic weddings.
Getting married at Mohican Gardens & Conservatory
Mohican Gardens & Conservatory comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
