“Its sweet and homey, the waiter was an absolute doll, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming.”
From the reviews
We used Emry's Garden to cater our small (7 people) intimate wedding that we recently held in our home. We chose them because the chef is the same chef from the classic Quintessence Restaurant that was located on New Scotland Avenue in Albany.
Solo date night + girls night out approved. The atmosphere is gorgeously romantic and rustic at the same time and plant filled! Host is lovely, our server as well. We didn’t realize VDay❤️ was a prix fixe menu but still lovely. The raspberry dark chocolate torte (?) was sublime the next day.
Rented for my daughter’s Bridal Shower and I cannot stop thinking how amazing this experience was!!!!! Besides the beautiful ambiance the food and drinks were more than I can ever ask for!! Delicious!! Joyce and her crew made this experience like no other!!! They made everyone feel so welcomed!!!
Trendy brunch vibes and nice atmosphere but host staff is a bit pretentious. Food was fine, bar food but nothing special. Drinks were solid, pricing was fair.
Getting married at EMRY's Garden
EMRY's Garden comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at EMRY's Garden
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at EMRY's Garden — garden venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
