I had contacted Harvey back in early 2021. My wife and I never had a legitimate wedding, and wanted to plan something nice for a vow renewal but not over the top.
We scheduled at the Altamont Manor with Harvey (the owner) back in January and had our pick of the litter for wedding dates. We chose September and couldn’t have been happier. With the Manor you have many options of having the actual wedding ceremony outside, inside or on the deck-area.
We pulled off the wedding of our dreams at Altamont Manor! The grounds and building are so beautifully maintained and served as the backdrop for gorgeous photos we will treasure forever. Our out-of-town guests were so impressed with the breathtaking views of the mountains and fall foliage.
My wife and I got married at Alta Mont Manor on 10/13/24, and it was an absolutely amazing experience. The venue is stunning—beautiful, intimate, and incredibly comfortable. Harvey, the owner, was exceptional. He went above and beyond to help us, calming all our anxieties and ensuring everything went smoothly.
Getting married at Altamont Manor
Altamont Manor comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
