From the reviews
Let me start off by saying, if you're planning to get married, choose Alexander Homestead! It is a beautiful venue. The scenery is amazing, it's filled with beautiful flowers. I want to give a special thanks to Carolann Mercuri and her staff. They made my family and I feel very welcomed.
We had THE BEST experience with Alexander Homestead for our April wedding. From the first meeting to the day of they made us feel so comfortable and took care of everything. Carolann was our coordinator, she is a rockstar and made sure everything went flawlessly!
Carolann and the team at Alexander Homestead were absolutely incredible throughout our entire wedding process! My husband and I got married just over one week ago and the experience felt flawless and better than we could have imagined.
My husband and I cannot recommend this venue enough to anyone looking to get married in Charlotte. The venue itself is gorgeous for the ceremony as well as the reception!
Getting married at Alexander Homestead by Wedgewood Weddings
Alexander Homestead by Wedgewood Weddings comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
