The Starner family is absolutely wonderful. We booked this venue back in 2018 when they first started as a wedding venue and the work and love they have put into this venue is amazing. Kara answered all of our questions so quickly and the entire family was always flexible with meeting us at the venue to look again.
Our wedding here was perfect and we are still getting compliments from all of our guest on how beautiful the place was. The staff( Troy, Colby, Amanda and Kara) made it a great experience for us and made accommodations towards our needs.
If you want a breath taking venue look no further. I am absolutely amazed of the efforts to make our day so very special. Couldn't have asked for a better venue the day of coordinators were great jumping back and forth between the girls and the guys and making sure everything was in order so we could enjoy the day.
Troy was super helpful from the beginning! They did so much to the barn and it truly is the most beautiful venue all around. So many things to do and is already just so beautiful inside the barn. Would recommend this beautiful venue.
Getting married at Wilson's Bittersweet Barn
Wilson's Bittersweet Barn comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
