On September 9, 2022 our family celebrated my marriage at a reception held at Travelers Rest. We could not have been more pleased with the event. The Salazar family was a wonderful host.
I hosted a bridal shower at Travelers Rest this Saturday 6/1/24. The event was just perfect. Nelson and his staff attended to every detail to make it a very special day. The food was delicious down to the amazing cake! The staff were so friendly and accommodating. This is a wonderful venue to host any event!

I recently hosted my grandmother’s 90th birthday celebration at this venue and the experience exceeded my expectations from start to finish. The location itself is beautiful with scenic surroundings that created the perfect backdrop.
Getting married at Travelers Rest

First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge.
