From the reviews
While planning our wedding, my husband and I were dedicated to finding a venue that felt different from the typical Miami venues. We wanted something that was cozy, warm, gorgeous, and rustic. The Woman's Club of Coconut Grove was exactly what we wanted, and we are so grateful that we decided to have our wedding there.
We had our wedding (ceremony and reception) at the Woman's club in Dec 2022. We absolutely loved the venue, as we loved the old Miami building and the oak trees outside, and its prime location in the Grove. We got married outside, had an outside cocktail hour, and then indoor reception.
How can I explain how perfect this venue was? At first I was very hesitant to book this venue due to feeling it was surrounded by a street and the possibility of cars during the ceremony. But let me tell you how wrong I was. I mentioned the next day to my family, I did not even notice the cars.
Wow. There are no words for how amazing my experience was at the Womans Club for hosting my wedding. Amanda was the most calming person to work with, and she was with me from start to end. She acted as my day of coordinator and worked with me plenty of times up until my wedding.
Getting married at The Woman's Club of Coconut Grove
The Woman's Club of Coconut Grove comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at The Woman's Club of Coconut Grove
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at The Woman's Club of Coconut Grove — garden venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
