We got married at The Little Herb House on June 2, 2018 and it was better than we could ever have imagined! It is truly one of the most beautiful venues we had ever seen - Lisa does an amazing job keeping up with the property! We had our ceremony by the pond and our reception in the barn.
The Little Herb House is the perfect place if you are looking for a barn style wedding. It is classic and just a naturally beautiful space. The barn is on the families' property, so it is well kept up and is used for their own personal business outside of being a wedding venue.
Perfect venue for an indoor-outdoor wedding. Lisa and Kirby were awesome to work with and kept everything running smoothly throughout the weekend. We chose to have our ceremony out in the pasture and use the garden/barn for our cocktail hour and reception.
The best wedding venue if you are looking for a rustic barn wedding. They have plenty of wedding items that are left from other weddings that you can use. You get the venue for whole weekend which allows you to set up Friday and take down on Sunday. They whole team is super nice and helpful.
Getting married at The Little Herb House
The Little Herb House comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
