We got married at the Garden in December and we're so happy with our choice of venue! It was perfect for our size of wedding (we had ~240 guests), we decided to keep it simple decor-wise which was easy since they have string lights on the ceilings and brick walls.
My husband and I got married here on 9/22/2023 and we couldn't have imagined a better venue!! Everything was exactly as we'd pictured when we were planning! The pricing was very fair as well! The staff were incredible to work with; They were friendly, kind, and always ready to help out with anything we needed.
We had our wedding reception at The Garden a few months ago, and I can't say enough positive things about our experience. Elissa and Angela were great to work with and very accommodating. The food was excellent, and all of the staff helping out were wonderful. I would definitely recommend The Garden for a venue.
The Garden wedding and event center is stunning. An industrial styled space that has all the wonders of Duluth and Canal Park. The history of the wedding venue has the heart of Duluth in it all while providing an indescribable wedding experience.
Getting married at The Garden Canal Park
The Garden Canal Park comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
