I recently had my wedding (4/9/22) at The Thompson House and Gardens and it was fantastic! Amber in particular was great! She’s super knowledgeable and very helpful. Day of the wedding she came by and jumped right in helping us set up decor that we had brought.
Awesone. Beautiful grounds Food was fantastic. The staff was excellent. My first time there. Wedding outdoors was beautiful and area was very clean and well kept. House was furnished lovely. Hope I get the opportunity to visit again sometime.
Very intimate, pretty venue and the stuff was friendly, helpful and wonderful. Plenty of parking also.
We visited a handful of venues, but none of them could compare to Thompson House & Gardens (THG). We wanted a venue that was a reflection of us and this venue was just that. Very intimate setting and it just seemed as if we were “home”. The house is great and they have so many ways to make it personable!
Getting married at The Garden
The Garden comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
