As a wedding photographer, I can't help but get excited when I hear about The Cordelle! This venue is an absolute dream come true for capturing breathtaking and memorable photos.
We got married in February 2022 at The Cordelle. The space is so beautiful, and we love that even though it's just outside of downtown, it provided us with enough space for an indoor ceremony, a cocktail hour on the covered patio (and garden since it was nice that day), and an indoor reception.
My daughter's wedding was last weekend at the Cordelle and it was amazing!!! The venue itself is gorgeous. The ceremony was held in the Victorian room which was so intimate with candles burning in the old fireplaces.
The Cordelle is revered as one of the best venues in Nashville and there is good reason for that. My husband and I could not have asked for a better venue. The staff were so wonderful to work with the whole process.
Getting married at The Cordelle
The Cordelle comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
