From the reviews
When we started the process of looking at wedding venues, we knew that The Commons HAD to be on our list of venues to tour after reading so many rave reviews and seeing the many photos from past weddings.
We had our wedding at The Commons in June of 2022 and everything was phenomenal! The venue is stunning, the food is absolutely delicious and the service is really top notch. Multiple guests commented on how much they loved the food and how attentive the staff was throughout the evening.
We had our wedding reception at the Commons during July of 2024. From the minute we decided to choose The Commons through our Wedding day, everything was exceptional.
There is SO much that can be said about our experience with The Commons 1854, but we’ll try to keep it short and sweet! The Commons 1854 was one of three venues we visited, and ultimately selected based on the connection that we had with their team from the very beginning.
Getting married at The Commons 1854
The Commons 1854 comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
