My husband and I got married at Storybook Gardens in 2019. I am not one for planning or being on top of things so the idea of planning an entire wedding did NOT seem possible.
This is a long overdue review for for the incredible job Storybook Gardens did for my wedding this past August. Picking out a venue was an overwhelming experience and after the very first time we met Jana, we felt total relief because we knew the search was over, and we had found our perfect fit.
Absolutely stunning venue! Our day was seamless thanks to Allie and Jana—everything ran perfectly. DJ Nick kept the party going and played all our favorite songs. Skye from SBG did an amazing job on my makeup—I felt beautiful all day. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience
Great venue and also a good place to take romantic pictures. The wedding I went to was in the tent. The staff was super friendly and sometimes even funny. There were indoor toilets available, but also portajohns right by the tent.
Getting married at Storybook Gardens
Storybook Gardens comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
