From the reviews
We had the absolute sweetest stay at South Eden in the Sweetheart Cottage. The property is truly a beautiful, quaint gem with so much charm and character. Every corner feels intentional and thoughtfully designed.
South Eden Plantation is the kind of venue that makes you stop and appreciate every detail. Between the beautiful grounds, mature trees, and timeless Southern charm, there is no shortage of stunning views throughout the property.
We've worked with South Eden and its wonderful employees and really couldn't say enough about the breathtaking property itself, the story of its recent renovation and the miraculous Ms. Kim, the commitment to keeping such an amazing place up to date without losing its historic charm... I could go on for days.
Beautiful venue and place for any event! Owner is friendly and staff is on their toes to make sure everything is to your standard. I had my baby shower here and it could not have been more beautiful and perfect.
Getting married at South Eden
South Eden comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
