From the reviews
Very Nice place. In the middle of no where. Small but charming. They rent for events. Really nice for weddings.
If I could give Popes a million stars, I would! Michelle and Dan are amazing! They made our wedding so special and made us feel like family. We had to make major changes due to the weather and they were quick to help accommodate the changes. The venue itself is beautiful and rich in art history.
We stayed here overnight as a Harvest Host guest in our rv. Beautiful! I had no idea what this place was when I booked. I am so glad we got the chance to learn more and see the incredible artwork and pay honor to our veterans men and women who gave their lives so that we can enjoy our freedoms!
A wonderful place to stay! Very beautiful and peaceful. The Host, Michelle, is very attentive and makes you feel welcome immediately. The property is pristine. I stayed in the Guest House and thoroughly enjoyed it! Great place!!
Getting married at Popes Museum
Popes Museum comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
