I had my baby shower at this venue in the Monte Carlo room, on Sunday, February 1. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone. The servers, and staff were absolutely amazing. They were at my assistance whenever needed, and always checked on me to be sure that my event was going as planned and if I needed anything.
Shelby Banquet Center is a beautiful, elegant environment. As we host our events there, the owners in the management team are very accommodating. Our guests had the highest compliments of the taste and the presentation of our meals. This amazing facility aims to please. They immediately gave attention to any request.
I had Shelby Gardens booked over a year ago for my wedding. They did a change of management, food menu & name a couple weeks before my wedding. Obviously this was extremely stressful. The staff did an amazing job accommodating me and my now husband during this process.
Getting married at Shelby Banquet Center
Shelby Banquet Center comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
