Let me start by saying that the Secret Garden and the Epic Coordination team made all of my wedding dreams come true! I recently got married at the Secret Garden on April 28th, 2024.
If you are looking for a wedding venue, look no further. The Secret Garden is literally perfect. The venue is gorgeous inside and out - the garden is immaculate with greenery and florals in every space. The interior is an elegant canvas that can easily accommodate whatever you envision.
This review is long overdue but I wanted to give myself sometime to process the whole day before posting it for all to see. First, I want to say that the services included when booking with this venue makes your life so much easier- especially if you are not looking to plan every single detail of your wedding.
Getting married at Secret Garden at Rancho Santa Fe
Secret Garden at Rancho Santa Fe comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
