Went here for a wedding and it was a wonderful venue. Outdoor space to hold the ceremony, a beautiful Japanese Shinto shrine, lots of tall redwoods and a view of the Tacoma Bay. The size of the pagoda comfortable sat dozens of people for a feast.

What a lovely and intimate space for a wedding. The Japanese Garden is really beautiful and the pagoda is a really wonderful space for probably up to 60ish guests. I love the brick walls and the windows on all sides let in so much light. One thing to remember, it is still a public park.
Very tranquil location with beautiful ponds and scenery. This would be a great place to do a wedding or other events. You are also able to get a view of Commencement Bay in certain areas. If you enjoying meditation, taking time to journal, or any art experiences, this is a great place to do all of these.
