My husband and I got married outdoors at Murray Hill, overlooking the Potomac River. It was the perfect, most peaceful setting for our intimate wedding. The rustic scenery and barn gave just the look we wanted for our photos. Peggy is amazing to work with, and has such a gift for bringing a vision to life.
As a wedding photographer, I love Murray Hill. The home has a lot of lovely vintage details for getting ready photos and the ceremony backdrop overlooking the Potomac is awesome for photos. I especially love the half open reception barn with a ton of string lights.
We held our daughter's wedding at this venue in June 2019. John and Peggy Rust, the owners, were fantastic hosts, available to make sure that every detail of our event was handled properly. The manor house is absolutely gorgeous!
I recently hosted a baby shower for my wife at this beautiful barn venue, and it was absolutely perfect! The rustic charm of the barn created such a cozy, inviting atmosphere that made everyone feel right at home. The space was both spacious and intimate, with plenty of room for games, gifts, and mingling.
Getting married at Murray Hill Events
