From the reviews
My wife and I had the most wonderful wedding at Mountainville Manor and we could not have been happier with our choice of venue. From the beginning, Lauren and James helped us with every step of the process and were always so responsive to all our questions.
I photographed M. + T. wedding day at Mountainville Manor and it was beautiful. The beginning part of the day had to remain flexible due to a family emergency and the venue handled it so well- making sure the couple was taken care and never rushed. The food was absolutely delicious and M. and T.
As a wedding photographer, I’ve had the pleasure of shooting at Mountainville Manor several times—and it’s consistently one of my favorite venues in the Hudson Valley. This Victorian estate is full of charm, with stunning photo opportunities around every corner.
This venue isn’t talked about nearly as much as it should be; it is the whole package. Lauren and James were a dream to work with throughout the entire process, very easy to communicate with, answered every question, and were flexible and understanding with our requests.
Getting married at Mountainville Manor
Mountainville Manor comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
