From the reviews
Mooreland Mansion is truly a hidden gem in Northeast Ohio! We celebrated our wedding there in September, and it couldn’t have been a more beautiful day. Our ceremony in the rose garden was absolutely stunning — the flowers were in full bloom and created the perfect romantic backdrop.
We had our wedding here in July 2021 and I cannot say enough good things about Mooreland. We used the gardens for our engagement pictures and our wedding photos, and they are absolutely stunning. From its beautiful antiquated atmosphere to Normandy catering’s quality of food, everything was so lovely.
Mooreland Mansion helped make our day absolutely perfect. Not too many people are familiar with this venue but it is fantastic! As soon as the groom and I walked in and looked around the space and gardens, we knew right away it was where we wanted to have the ceremony and reception.
Loved, loved, loved Mooreland Mansion!! When we started planning our wedding, my husband and I knew we wanted something different, and we knew we wanted the ceremony and reception at the same place. The first place we looked at was Mooreland, and we fell in love instantly.
Getting married at Mooreland Mansion
Mooreland Mansion comes up for weddings, going by their listing and couples’ reviews. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
