From the reviews
Mills Rose Inn is a remarkable romantic gateway to celebrate any occasion. I went to Mills Rose Inn for my 24 year wedding anniversary (May 30-31). I was beyond impressed by the scenery, location, guest service and the clean, charming room.
We have been to this wonderful b&b once before for my engagement. And three years later, we have returned again for our one year anniversary. It was just as wonderful as the previous time. For this trip we stayed at the bordeaux rose room, which is their largest suite.
This was a last minute pick (literally booked on Friday for a Saturday night stay!) because it was close to where we had dinner plans Saturday night. We fell in love with it as soon as we arrived. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Our host greeted us and showed us around the property.
The best B&B I've been to. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. I love being able to sit around and relax in my room for a bit when I'm on vacation, so having a room with nice seating and a beautiful gas fireplace was a delight. Our room had a nice table so one of the nights we were able to get pizza delivered.
Getting married at Mill Rose Inn, Half Moon Bay Hotel
Mill Rose Inn, Half Moon Bay Hotel comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Mill Rose Inn, Half Moon Bay Hotel
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Mill Rose Inn, Half Moon Bay Hotel — garden venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
