From the reviews
Mildred Hall is truly, truly special. A warm, modernized vintage gem in the heart of one of my favorite Portland neighborhoods. The moment we walked in, we knew it was the perfect place for our wedding.
Mildred Hall is truly enchanting! The event space offers many options for your event design -- from the main hall with it's warm wood floors, brilliant windows, and lofted ceilings, to the beautiful, jasmine-scented backyard with its many outdoor spaces (including a back deck, cozy fire pit, corn hole alley, and large…
Mildred Hall is a bright and airy space that feels deeply inviting and warm. The high beams, and large windows makes it feel even larger than it is - and the outside garden is perfectly curated for hosting a small gathering.
The space was absolutely wonderful, and Matt was incredibly helpful. Available incredibly often and was able to answer all of my questions with a quick turnaround. Our wedding of about 50 people fit comfortably, and we had the absolute pleasure to be there.
Getting married at Mildred Hall
Mildred Hall comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
