From the reviews
My husband and I cannot recommend the Marion Hatcher Center highly enough. Everything was absolutely perfect for our day! We reserved the whole house for our wedding reception, so our guests had room to wander and be comfortable.
Visited for the first to attend a holiday performance. Parking is available in back. The Christmas decorations were beautiful. I would recommend better signage on where to enter. We were lucky since GPS took us to the parking lot one street behind the center. Could definitely see this used for parties and receptions.
Saw an intimate live theater show here. Could've been more thought put into the stage setup. The stage was shaky and did not allow the performers to move much. Just recommend the event coordinators/team put more thought into the type of show being conducted and ensure the stage is built and set appropriately for it.
Absolutely loved this event. The venue was a beautiful historic home. I'm not a huge drinker and feared I wouldn't care for the cocktails but they were all very light and refreshing. The staff was very friendly and their performances impressive. I would recommend this event and venue.
Getting married at Marion Hatcher Center
Marion Hatcher Center comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
