“Gorgeously renovated, historic Augusta landmark, was the perfect place to take a warm bath and lay my head after visiting a family member in the nearby downtown hospital.”

From the reviews
I had an amazing stay at the Lookaway Inn! The historic charm of the inn made it a unique experience, and our Queen Premier Suite was incredibly comfortable and beautifully decorated. The room was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully appointed, making it a perfect retreat.
We spent 2 days at this beautiful Inn for a wedding. I highly recommend this lovely place to anyone looking accommodations in North Augusta. John is so kind and welcoming. The rooms are beautifully appointed and comfortable. Breakfast was cooked to order eggs with assorted breads, spreads, yogurt, coffee and fruit.
I stayed for a week. Excellent choice if you'd like to absorb some of the local vibe and history. The hospitality of the host/owner is unmatched and you'll learn a lot at breakfast from the high-powered guests. You can stay at a nice chain motel for a similar price, but the overall experience at this B&B is priceless.
The staff was extremely friendly. The host, John, was very pleasant to talk to. We were going to miss breakfast due to a commitment we had during breakfast hours. They went out of their way to make sure there would be food when we arrived after breakfast hours.
Getting married at Lookaway Inn
Lookaway Inn comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
