My wife and I attended a wedding here in September. The wedding ceremony took place outside and then they had a cocktail hour on the first floor of the hall. After the cocktail hour was over, the reception was held upstairs. The hall was beautifully decorated and even the outside was decorated.

Lovett Hall is the gift that keeps on giving for wedding venues. Not only are there things to photograph in every season, but the hall oozes warmth, has a classic feel and yet the ballroom is built for fun.
As a wedding photographer I have been to many halls including Lovett. This time around I was a guest, and family to the bride. The level of service and the attitude of the servers was excellent. The food was very good with great flavor. I left the event with great memories of the wedding and reception.
Getting married at Lovett Hall
Lovett Hall comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
