From the reviews
I absolutely LOVED this venue!!! My husband and I initially wanted to get married in May of 2021 but because of covid we decided to postpone until November of 2021. The venue was extremely accommodating to this. No hassle or issues with them. Working with Diane was an absolute blast!
Though the venue is lovely and the day ran smoothly there were a couple of things i was unhappy with. The salad was not fresh, and the cake was not easy to cut into when my husband and i went to cut our first slice, not to mention it tasted nothing like it did when I went in for the tasting.
Our daughter was married here in October. The LSH made all the planning effortless. From the onset, Diane was always available to help during our 10 months of planning. The grounds, staff, food and bar were outstanding! My daughter and her husband say the relatives and friends still talk about their beautiful wedding.
We had our wedding ceremony and reception here. The wedding venue is gorgeous and the food is amazing. We receive tons of compliments on how pretty the venue is. The best part about this venue is, Diane (the coordinator). Diane is very straight forward and explains all the details and fees upfront..
Getting married at Lindley-Scott House
Lindley-Scott House comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Lindley-Scott House
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Lindley-Scott House — garden venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
