From the reviews
I've photographed countless sessions at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden including proposals, weddings, engagements, and family portraits, and it never disappoints. The beautifully maintained gardens provide a stunning backdrop with lush greenery and colorful blooms that make every session special.
We had our wedding at Lewis Ginter on April 25, and it was the most amazing venue! I highly recommend visiting the gardens in general, but to have a wedding in the rose garden in peak bloom is the most beautiful setting. The operations team and catering team are fantastic to work with, and they curated the best event!
I went a few years ago and now there is a lot more space and garden to walk and explore. There was a set up for a wedding in the Rose garden. Beautiful. There was a lot more that I didn't see.
Getting married at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden
Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden comes up for weddings, going by their listing and couples’ reviews. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
