Let me start by saying that my husband and I were extremely blessed and actually won an all inclusive micro-wedding in which the Historic Walton House was the chosen venue. And OMG am I lucky that it was! Frank at The Historic Walton was such a pleasure to work with.
I'm a wedding photographer, and the Walton House is my favoriteeeeee Miami venue to photograph. There's no shortage of beautiful spots to take photos of in, the sun sets beautifully over the garden, and Frank is one fo the most genuine and awesome people in this industry. He goes above and beyond for his people .
As a wedding photographer, I have never written a review for a venue before but we had such a wonderful experience that we just had to. Frank, the manager went above and beyond. We were searching for a venue to host a micro wedding for a couple of ours.
We hosted my sons wedding party meet and greet dinner there and we weren’t disappointed. Just beautiful grounds, well kept and and the food was catered by Brian. Frank and his right hand man Anthony did a wonderful job guiding the guests around the massive property. Everyone remarked what a beautiful evening it was.
Getting married at Historic Walton House
Historic Walton House comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
