From the reviews
We used Chatfield Farms as a wedding venue and it was so perfect! The gardens, in full bloom at the end of August, were the most gorgeous, natural backdrop for photos and just an incredible venue. We kept our decor simple, so as to not distract from all of the natural beauty.
What a beautiful venue, wow!! I had the pleasure of being a Wedding Coordinator at the Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield Farms. Got to work with Abby & Sana - they were so on top of it, great communication and were so incredibly helpful before, during and after the wedding day.
We visited during the lavender festival and had a great time overall. There was plenty of parking, and the area itself is lovely for strolling around. The vendor booths were set up in the middle of a field, which made for a nice atmosphere, but it did get quite warm.
As a wedding coordinator, I absolutely loved getting to work a wedding at this beautiful botanic garden. Although we each got almost 30,000 steps in throughout the course of our couple's wedding day, it was well worth all the effort to see how happy our couple and their guests were celebrating throughout this…
Getting married at Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield Farms
Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield Farms comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield Farms
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield Farms — garden venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
