From the reviews
I cannot say enough good things about our experience with the Barker House, but I will try! My now husband and I toured the Barker House about a year ago. It was the one and only venue we saw and we booked it in the spot. Since then, the entire planning process was incredibly smooth.
I couldn't imagine a better place to get married and a better team to help me get married. The Wedgewood wedding team at Barker House was absolutely phenomenal. Davis-Lynn was literally me and my husband's hero and everyone else was just as incredible.
If I had to redo my entire wedding experience, I would choose The Barker House every. single. time. The venue is absolutely magical and somehow becomes even more breathtaking at night. Its charm and character create a sense of peace and warmth you wouldn’t expect, and it truly feels special the moment you step inside.
We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding venue! From the moment we toured the property, we fell in love with its beauty and uniqueness. Surrounded by water and featuring a stunning lighthouse, the venue provided the most incredible backdrop for our wedding photos. Every corner felt picturesque and special.
Getting married at Barker House by Wedgewood Weddings
Barker House by Wedgewood Weddings comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
