I was invited to perform at the Abernethy Center and would highly recommend it. This place will easily suit the outdoor or indoor wedding ceremony cocktail hour and reception. There is a beautiful white The Abernethy Center ChapelChapel where you can get married as well.
Such a stunning venue! I enjoyed photographing my last wedding there and the staff was extremely organized. The day went super smooth and there were a variety of photo locations at the venue. Can't wait to come back for another wedding this year!
Abernethy was the perfect venue for our wedding! From the very first time we visited to view the venue, they made us feel special. We made an appointment and when we arrived our names were on a sign in the parking lot.
We got married at the Abigail's Garden location of the Abernethy Center in August 2024. The venue is absolutely stunning and the staff are wonderful with prompt and concise communication, but hands down the food was our favorite part this venue.
Getting married at Abernethy Center
Abernethy Center comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
