From the reviews
Photographed a wedding here in October, and absolutely loved it! The Weeden House is a beautiful historical home, perfect for a backyard wedding under the pecan trees.
I first visited on a walking tour. I saw much of the house and enjoyed the history of it. This time I was there for a celebration of life that had been planned for the backyard. Rain caused a change in plans.
We had our wedding reception at the Weeden House and had the most incredible experience. The staff is so kind in helping you coordinate and working directly with your wedding planner. The turf in the backyard is the perfect setting for a wedding, especially because there’s no mud to be worried about!
Great venue for a wedding reception and very friendly staff. If you chose to tour the museum, be sure to watch the conspiracy theory videos on tiktok about the history before going
Getting married at Weeden House Museum and Garden
Weeden House Museum and Garden comes up for weddings, going by their listing and couples’ reviews. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
