We had our wedding at Vrooman Mansion, after looking around for unique venues in Central Illinois. As soon as we took a tour, we knew this was going to be the place. It's a truly beautiful place, and I've never been to a wedding in a place like it.
We recently had our wedding at Vrooman Mansion and it was absolutely perfect in every way. The grounds looked stunning with all the fall foliage. Additionally, so many extra amenities were included with the Vrooman wedding package: an amazing staff pianist (Brian) for the ceremony, decor setup and tear-down, on-site…
Our company holiday party has been at the Vrooman Mansion the last two years and the experience is always wonderful. Their staff is helpful and kind. They are great to work with and make the process easy. The venue is unique with a great vibe. If you’re looking for a place to have an event, I highly recommend.
FANTASTIC! The facility and staff are both top notch! The staff could not be more attentive and gracious and the food was delicious. We rented the carriage house and several rooms for a wedding weekend and were so appreciative of the staff for their energy, kindness and good cheer!
Getting married at Vrooman Mansion
Vrooman Mansion comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
