We had a great 3 day weekend staying at the Hoard House in the Village. It was wonderful with three other couples and I would highly recommend staying there. The small businesses, the gardens, the ice cream shop and being in walking distance to the State Park makes a great combination!
We rented a cottage here so we would have a place to get ready for my wedding and to spend the night after getting married. Staff at Big Chief Country Store was nice. When checking out, I was asked if there was anything they needed to know about.
Our wedding last year at the State Park was made extra special by hosting our closest friends and family in Frankie's properties. Everything went perfectly and she really went above and beyond to help make our special weekend perfect
Frankie, Nancy, and the staff at the Village at Indian Springs were so very helpful to us during our wedding season. Their facilities are wonderful and fit perfectly into our vision for our wedding. Our family, friends, and bridal party were able to stay on site during our weekend.

First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
