Attended a wedding over the weekend and it was magical! The food was delicious and the cafe davina was hit!!! The rooms made you feel like you were royalty! Jack n Jill style bathrooms so be mindful when booking a stay! Otherwise it was phenomenal!
My husband and I got married Feb 1st this year. We spent our wedding night and weekend at Pinner House. Our stay was immaculate. The service in everyday was perfect and has given us a beautiful forever memory. The cottages and rooms were beautiful and Cafe Davina was delicious every single time.
A random discovery on Instagram of the adorable and quaint Cafe Devina months ago turned into a special night away for our 1st anniversary. Our host was gracious and welcoming, greeting us as we pulled into the property. We stayed in Cottage 1, the back cottage.
The Pinner House is a "diamond in the rough"! After four stays, I am convinced that the high quality of The Cottage is "second to none". Most recently the cafe is value added with simplicity yet healthy flavor. The geographic location and proximity to Williamsburg and Virginia Beach is convenient.
Getting married at The Pinner House
The Pinner House comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
