We had both our rehearsal dinner and wedding at The Lumen House, and it was honestly the best decision we could’ve made! The venue is absolutely beautiful—our guests are still talking about it. An Absolutely Beautiful Wedding Experience at The Lumen House! We recently held a wedding event at The Lumen House in Cleveland, North Carolina, and it was an absolutely beautiful experience from start to finish. We cannot recommend this venue highly enough! The space itself is truly lovely.
We got married at The Lumen House in November of 2025, and it was such an incredible choice. My husband and I are both wedding professionals with a combined 15 years of experience, and we had never seen a venue like this in NC. The modern design, chic contrast, and emphasis on natural light were our selling points.
I cannot say enough about how much we love this space! My husband and I are both in the wedding industry in Wilmington,NC. For our wedding we wanted something that we haven’t seen in our town or something we work at every weekend. The Lumen House is NOTHING like we have seen ANYWHERE!!!
Getting married at The Lumen House
The Lumen House comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
