From the reviews
Strong Mansion is stunning, classic and elegant making for the most stunning images for your wedding day. If you're looking for a venue that has a European-inspired feel to it, this is it!!! Everything is dreamy! All photos by Brooke Blasiak Photography.
Strong Mansion was the first venue that we toured and I knew from that day, this place would be magical. Visually, the fall colors of our early November wedding were breathtaking and I loved being outdoors for the entire event to take advantage of that.
I'm a local wedding and portrait photographer, and while I've taken many of my engaged couples and family portrait clients up to Sugarloaf Mountain for engagement and portrait sessions, it was just last year (2013) that I photographed my first wedding at Strong Mansion, seated at the base of the mountain.
We got married at Strong Mansion on 9/30 and it was the most perfect day. The mansion itself is beautiful inside and out; the grounds, garden and outside spaces are impeccable and breathtaking. However, the most incredible part are the staff.
Getting married at Strong Mansion
Strong Mansion comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
