I will never be able to express in words how amazing the Springdale House and Gardens and their staff are. My daughter was married there in October 2012 and it was a fairytale wedding thanks to the staff at the House.
My husband and I could have not picked a better venue for our wedding reception! After months of searching for the perfect place I fell in love with the Springdale House & Gardens as soon as I walked in for our first meeting! Kathy and the rest of the Springdale House team are just wonderful to work with!
Unlike another venue I reviewed (MHG), this was one of my favorites. It's run professionally, but manages to make you feel like you are just a welcome guest to their home! Food was great, service was incredible! Wish I had known about them before the wedding was booked.
I held my son's rehearsal dinner there and wished that they had moved the wedding from the Mitchell House and Gardens to here. The staff are so sweet, professional and easy to work with. It was a GREAT experience.

First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge.
