3 stays down, more to go! A cozy, historical treasure! Ms. Carol is a wonderful host and the place is a perfect escape for anyone who needs a bit of solitude along the water.
We enjoyed our stat at the Mansion. The rooms were big, clean and spacious. Carole had left us some lemon pound cake. The bathroom was very big and the water pressure was good. Carole had left us some helpful brochures and maps and she made us a delicious breakfast.
This house was a great stay, and Carol is such a nice host. My family and I stayed here for a wedding that was down the road, and we loved the nostalgic decor, caring service, and excellent homemade breakfast. You can tell that Carol puts a lot of love and thought into restoring the former beauty of the old house.
Our group rented out the entire house and carriage house for 2 nights while attending a wedding one half block down the street. Our rooms and Carol, the live in owner, could not have been nicer. The inn is a charming Victorian restored and decorated lovingly with antiques by Carol herself.
