Southern House and Garden is a DREAM to work with from start to finish. We fell in love with everything about this venue. The event spaces, the grounds, and the people! Mrs Angi calmed every nerve and answered every question along the way. Tina brought it all home day of with no detail left undone.
Went to a wedding here and it was absolutely STUNNING! I will definitely be getting married here when I hook the right fella! 😉
OMG, how do I put it in words?!? On January 04, 2018 we had the opportunity to have the most awesome, pleasurable wedding experience anyone could ask for. Everything from the venue to the ceremony to the cake and the menu was exceptional! The staff, I feel like I have made 3 awesome friends for life!
Getting married at Southern House and Garden
Southern House and Garden comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
