What a unique and excellent place to hold a wedding. My brother and now sister-in-law were married there and I found the staff to be friendly, laid-back, helpful and personable. The setting is gorgeous and made for beautiful pictures for them.
I couldn't have asked for a better venue and staff from Sojourn Lakeside Resort. Joy has put together the right staff and system to make you have a wonderful wedding weekend. She will work with you at every aspect and help you in the right direction.
My husband and I were here for a wedding and the whole weekend at Sojourn was like a fairy tale. Granted, the fall weather was spectacular, but the setting and entire venue was over-the-top charming and idyllic. Technically a "rustic" venue, you'll be hard pressed to not feel showered in elegance throughout.
We got married here in August of 2023, and to say we had a great time would be an understatement. I've always dreamed of getting married by the water or in the woods, and this venue allowed both things to happen! We were there Thursday afternoon to Sunday morning, and we never got tired of the place.
