From the reviews
Our wedding was this past weekend at Shady Elms Farm and it was everything we dreamed of and more! I worked with Jane to plan our wedding and I can truly say she went above and beyond! Not one detail went unnoticed and everything came together even better than I could have imagined.
My husband and I had our wedding at SEF in September 2020. The SEF team is an absolute dream team. We wanted an all-inclusive venue, and they executed it perfectly. For what SEF doesn’t directly provide (cake, DJ, officiant), they have recommendations that are top notch.
Shady Elms Farm is the best barn wedding venue in the Pittsburgh area! We had our wedding here 9/12/25 and it was just what I always wanted! SEF is so wonderful to work with. My now husband and I met with many people through SEF and everyone was a delight to work with.
What an absolutely stunning venue honestly, it’s in my top 10 in the greater Pittsburgh area as of right now and the staffing coordinator there are absolutely top-notch. It was a pleasure photographing, and videoing here truly. -Eternal Lens Media
Getting married at Shady Elms Farm, LLC
Shady Elms Farm, LLC comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
