From the reviews
Sanger House Gardens is the perfect spot for an intimate wedding celebration! After a couple attempts at planning a larger wedding fell through due to COVID-19, my husband and I pivoted, cut our guest list to 27 people and moved our wedding celebration to Sanger House Gardens. We are so incredibly glad that we did!
Beautiful park type natural area with lit walkways and facilities. Has a carriage house for rent there with most amenities. Owners are really nice and accommodating. Was there for a friend's wedding with around 60 people and was unbelievable. Never would have believed this area existed here.
The most incredible garden hidden in the middle of Milwaukee. What a treat. Steve is an incredible host and an encyclopedia of knowledge when it comes to horticulture and landscape design
Beautiful venue! Sunken brick pathways meander through this delightful garden. This is a terrific place to spend a few hours or even host a party or wedding.
Getting married at Sanger House Gardens at Historic Brewer’s Hill
Sanger House Gardens at Historic Brewer’s Hill comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
