Visited and spent the night on Memorial Day. We had the entire grounds to ourselves. An extreme effort is made to have the grounds in full bloom and they are very nice. The peacocks wake up at 5 am and they are loud. We stayed in the Cooks quarters and being a B&B everything was supplied.
A wonderful venue. Beautiful Gardens, 1800s Jefferson Mansion. A Large lake and some 30 peacocks roaming the grounds. The award winning Cafe serves Cajun and Creole treats. Built on a Salt Dome. Very worthy.
Getting married at Rip Van Winkle Gardens

Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge.
